She is the author of Marketing to Hispanics A Strategic Approach to Assessing and Planning Your Initiative and lead author of the Grow with America: Best Practices in Ethnic Marketing and Merchandising, and is working on a new book due out in late 2012.

Terry’s passion for enabling company executives to leverage their skills, company assets and Hispanic market intelligence to meet profit goals is often sought out by trade associations, client organizations and graduate schools where she speaks on what it really takes to accelerate growth in the Hispanic market.

Terry has an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management in Malibu, California, is from Guayaquil, Ecuador, and is trilingual and completely multicultural.

Terry is recent past President of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs Los Angeles Chapter which she continues to support to further Hispanics’ education and grow Hispanic professionals’ presence in corporate ranks.

Prior to founding About Marketing Solutions in 2001, Terry was Managing Partner/VP of Strategy and Client Services at cruz/kravetz:IDEAS, leading Hispanic marketing communications campaigns for Banamex/MoneyGram, Kraft Foods, Citibank, Campbell Soup Co, El Pollo Loco, Lincoln-Mercury, Don Julio’s Tequila, Bancomer S.A., Mexicana Airlines and Pennzoil Motor Oil.

Previously, Terry was at Chiat/Day Advertising where she led general market brand and regional strategy and ad campaigns for the Nissan Pathfinder and Truck models. Terry started her career in motion picture marketing research at The National Research Group (Nielsen), Lieberman Research Worldwide, and later Research Resources, Inc., where she participated in the design of AC Nielsen’s first Hispanic enumeration study to measure U.S. Hispanics’ TV viewing habits.
